1989 Maximin Grünhaüser Abtsberg Riesling Auslese Fuder 133, from half-bottle - the nose showed notes of honey, white flowers, petrol, and flint. On the palate there was definitely sweetness as one would expect, but there was also some acidity for balance, with plenty of marmalade on the palate, too.

Bought from Mayfair as part of a mixed lot for HKD 316.
