Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve, Mis en Cave en 1996 - very good stuff.

1993 Trimbach Gewurztraminer Cuvée des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre - this was excellent!  Very high sugar levels typical of top cuvées of Alsace.  Very crisp, floral.  A refreshing summer drink.

Tasting at Manly Wine City.

1994 Guigal La Mouline - nose was amazing.  Love that viognier!  Floral and raspberry.  Lighter-bodied, a finesse wine with incredible smooth and velvety feel.

1994 Guigal La Turque - this was better and my favorite.  A better balance between La Mouline's style and the harder, more powerful La Landonne.  Asian spices, nutmeg.

1970 Las Cases

Dinner at brown.

1970 Léoville Las Cases - it wasn't as soft as I remembered.  In fact it had good amount of tannin left.  But there was still little fruit.  The only value lies in its vintage year...

1990 Cristal

Drinks at brown.

1990 Louis Roederer Cristal - exquisite once it was iced.  Good amount of yeast.  Acidity well-balanced.

Bought for JPY 13,000.

1995 Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin

Dinner at a friend's place.

1995 Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin - good concentration and body.  Could use a couple of more years.  Black olives and marshallow/vanilla nose.
