First Aussie sweet wine

1996 d'Arenberg Riesling the Noble - opened at home.  Really very good dessert wine.  Good level of sweetness from botrytis.  Peach notes.  Bought from Watson's for HKD 125.

A pair of Bordeaux reds

1993 Ducru-Beaucaillou - opened at a friend's house after dinner.  It was not as good as my previous bottle.  Much more tannic and vegetal.  Bought from Watson's for HKD 475.

1992 Calon-Segur - my friends opened this from their cellar, and it was a lot more forward, sweeter nose, and intense spicy flavors.

1995 Climens

1995 Climens - opened at home after dinner.  My first good Sauternes.  Too young, as nose is a bit pungent.  Needs cellaring.  Bought from Watson's for HKD 288.
